Our city tour today will finish with a shopping opportunity for a good cause at the Barefoot Fair Trade store. Here you can find a collection of handicrafts from around the country and support small cottage industries. Following our tour, we will depart Colombo and head for the perfectly preserved colonial township of Galle, which features an interesting blend of European architecture and South Asian traditions. Upon arrival in Galle we will take a tour of the Royal Dutch Fort, exploring the winding passageways, maze of gallery-filled narrow streets and 400 years of rich history. After this we will continue to Weligama, a beach town on the south coast where we will check in to our hotel for the evening.

The Ravana Falls (popularly known as Ravana Ella in Sinhala) is a very popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. This waterfall measures approximately 25m (82ft) in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rocky outcrop. During the local wet season, the waterfall turns into what is said to resemble a flower with withering petals. But this is not the case in the dry season, where the flow of water reduces dramatically. The falls form part of the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary. Upon arrival in Ella we will enjoy a lovely city orientation tour before checking into our Inspired Stay. Here we will spend two magical nights in the hills of Ella at the 5 star 98 Acres Resort & Spa overlooking the misty valley below.
