    Your floating hotel provides an ideal base to explore both Moscow and St Petersburg and the small settlements along the major rivers, lakes and canals between these two amazing cities.

    On your cruise/tour you will experience the majesty of the countryside, amazing structures and meet the friendly Russian people both on board and in their villages. Your accommodation in Moscow and St Petersburg is also on board, providing a great base for daily touring.

    We have included visits to popular places of interest in both of these classical cities. Options including the famous Bolshoi Ballet.

    ITINERARY

    Day 1-3: Saint Petersburg

    Transfer from the airport, bus city tour with the visit to Peter and Paul fortress, Hermitage museum

    Day 4: Mandrogui

    Free time, kebab (shashlik) ashore

    Day 5: Kizhi

    Open-air museum of wooden architecture

    Day 6: Goritsy

    Monastery of St. Cyril on the White Lake, museum of icons

    Day 7: Yaroslavl

    Bus city tour, local market (free time), Church of St Elijah the Prophete (outside), the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker (inside), Interactive tour of former Governor’s House (Art Gallery)

    Day 8: Uglich

    Walking city our with the visit to the territory of the Kremlin, Dmitry on the Blood Church, Transfiguration Cathedral

    Day 9-11: Moscow

    Bus city tour, Kremlin with the visit to 1 Cathedral, transfer to the airport

     

    Notes:

    • Reverse itinerary: Moscow, Uglich, Yaroslavl, Goritsy, Kizhi, Mandrogui, St Petersburg.
