    Day 4:KUNDASANG :Sabah Tea Garden and Poring
    Morning visit to the highland Sabah Tea Garden / Plantation including tea tasting.     Depart Kinabalu highlands for Kinabatangan.This afternoon we have an afternoon cruise to see the amazing wild proboscis monkeys that frequent the river bank environs.Accommodation at :Kinabatangan Lodge or similar.B,L,D Optional : Night cruise to view wildlife and possibly experience fire fly displays.(Purchase locally at resort subject to weather permitting)

    Today, start your day with an Early Morning Cruise to Ox-Bow Lake for bird watching. After your morning exploration return to lodge, freshen up and enjoy your late Breakfast.Free at leisure.Lunch. At 1600hrs join a river cruise in search of more species primates and wildlife along the Kinabatangan River bank. Overnight at Kinabatangan Lodge or similar.B,L,D
    Selingan Turtle Island Side Trip (Subject to availability of accommodation). Depart Kinabatangan to Sandakanafter an early breakfast for the scheduled boat Transfer to Selingan Turtle Island.

    Day 7:KINABATANGAN-GOMANTONG-SEPILOK, GOMANTONG CAVE, AGNES KEITH MUSUEM Transfer overlandby land to Sandakan with an en route stop to visit Gomantong Birdnest Caves.Upon arrival, 15 minutes walk on the plank walk to the cave.Explore the largest bird's nest cave in Sabah, home to millions of Bats and swiflets.The nest of the swiflets are collected for the famous Chinese edible bird nest soup.B,L
    Return back to Sandakan after lunch and free at leisure to explore the city of Sandakan & rejoin the group. At Sandakan we tour the local market and Sim-Sim Water Village, step back in time to visit the English Tea house, situated in a commanding position overlooking the city and bay, then visit the interesting Agnes Keith museum before transferring to Sepilok Nature Resort to check in.Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at Sepilok Nature Resort or similar

    Today visit Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center for an opportunity to view the Wildmen of Borneo, the Orang Utan.Known scientifically as Pongo Pygmaeus, this ape shares up to 96.4% of the human genetic makeup and is gentle, shy and curious by nature.Take a short walk through the lowland diptercarp forest to the Observation platform to watch the orang utans emerge from the forest to be fed by the rangers.Then, proceed to Labuk Bay Sanctuary to meet the long nose Proboscis Monkey.As sources of their food dwindle due to diminishing habitats, the sanctuary has made efforts to supplement the monkey’s diet with vegetables.Other wildlife such as hornbills and silverleaf monkeys can be seen occasionally.After lunch visit to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre,a wildlife conservation and research centre for improving animal welfare and rehabilitation of the Malayan sun bear (Helarctos malayanus). It also aims to raise public awareness about the plight of the sun bears and to raise conservation awareness about this species. The centre manages and improves the living condition of the rescued Sun bear to release their natural behaviors in the 2.5ha enclosed forest followed by visit to Rainforest Discovery Centre is a center for environmental education situated within the famous Kabili – Sepilok Forest Reserve.Appreciate the importance of conserving forests as well as learn the sustainable uses of the forest resources.Farewell dinner at Sepilok Nature Resort.B,L,D

    Day 9:SANDAKAN
    Free till departure transfer to Sandakan airport for onward flight.
