Our fabulous new Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers mini-tour, commencing Saturday 15 September 2018. Our 5 day tour includes entry to the events and carnival, as well as visiting Brisbane and Toowoomba. The tour is a leisurely tour, with minimal changes in accommodation but including an amazing variety of experiences. Enjoy hassle free garden touring and delight in seeing prize-winning gardens in all their glory. Includes many of Toowoomba's most beautiful prize winning gardens. We also check out the floral parade and spectacular floral artistry at St Patrick's Cathedral.

Day 1 Sat: Grand Floral Parade
Join our official event tour commencing from Brisbane Airport. Explore beautiful Toowoomba, high in the ranges for the annual Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. Admire stunning views from Picnic Point while enjoying a picnic lunch and a taste of the famous Lavender ice-cream. Travel downtown for some free time to explore the Art Trail featuring works by some of the regions most accomplished artisans. Mid afternoon, take your place for the spectacular line-up of the Grand Floral Parade presenting fresh floral floats, street performers, carnival characters, stilt walkers and live marching bands. Time to relax before our included Welcome Dinner tonight. D
Day 2 Sun: Gardens and Flower, Food and Wine Festival
Today we celebrate spring through the eyes of this region’s passionate gardeners, tour beautiful gardens created and cared for by local Toowoomba residents. Enjoy the remainder of the day at the Flower, Food and Wine Festival in magnificent Queens Park. You will have access to a huge selection of activities and attractions including Celebrity Chef cooking and gardening demonstrations, International Floral Design displays and a wide selection of local food and wine tastings. Once outside the festival visit the public floral displays of Queens Park. B
Day 3 Mon: Gardens
Today promises to be a day filled with magnificent gardens and spectacular views. Begin the day strolling through lovingly manicured prize winning gardens of Toowoomba. Many owners have spent months preparing their gardens just for this special week. Situated on the edge of the Toowoomba Escarpment there are views stretching eastward to the horizon. B
Day 4 Tue: Highland Gardens and Sustainable Farming
Enjoy a scenic drive this morning to the beautiful hamlets of Highfields and Hampton. Visit delightful prize-winning gardens followed by a visit to the Queensland Auto Museum located on a 20 acre Self-Sustainable Farm. Explore the ornamental gardens and learn about the variety of heritage fruit and vegetables grown on the property. Enjoy lunchtime at the famous Farmers Arms Hotel, an exquisite old pub - the oldest licensed hotel in Queensland. Return to our accommodation via Spring Bluff Railway Station before enjoying sunset tour at Downsteam Tourist Railway. B
Day 5 Wed: Toowoomba to Brisbane
Before departing the ‘Garden City’ we will take you to another beautiful Toowoomba landmark, the Japanese Garden. Take your time wandering through the colourful displays and water features. Enjoy a cuppa with the curator before re-boarding the coach for your trip back down the range to Brisbane and the international Airport for your onward connections. B
